We are delighted to offer coach Companies and Organisers a unique opportunity. Combine a visit to Boundary Mill Stores at Grantham with a guided tour of some of the outstanding local attractions.

The times shown below are a rough guideline and may vary depending on your chosen tour. Please note that Boundary Mill Stores do not provide transport for tours and your own coach will be used for these.

Historian Tours - £10 per head.
1030 Arrive at Store - Time for shopping

1500 Board the coach to depart for your Tour

Belton House Tour - £12.50 per head.

All inclusive of beverages, tours and refreshments. Minimum number to qualify = 20 people.

Roman Route
This tour takes you along the Roman Road which went from London to York. You will travel through the Lincolnshire countryside via Syston and the pretty village of Belton with its old cottages and pretty gardens. From there you will travel though Barkston and Ancaster. En route you will visit a special place, Byard’s Leap, which has an interesting history, all will be revealed when you arrive there. There will be time for photographs when you get there.

Cranwell & Ancaster
This route takes you along a two thousand year old road which used to be the main road from London to York. You will visit “The Home of The Royal Air Force” at Cranwell Camp and see the impressive buildings there. Then on to see the large Military Cemetery in Cranwell village. You will travel through the village of Leasingham on the way back. Your journey also includes visiting Belton, Barkston, Syston and Ancaster. Rutland Tour. Let’s go from England’s largest county to visit its smallest county, Rutland. You will travel through Greetham and Cottesmore on your way to Rutland, visiting the County Capital, Oakham where we will have a short break to allow you to take in this beautiful town which is steeped in history. Saltway Tour Going along a Pre-Roman Road - The Saltway (now the A52) which had the reputation of being the bendiest road in England! You will travel through Folkingham, Boothby Pagnall & Bitchfield seeing their pretty houses and countryside.

Belvoir Vale Tour
This route takes you into Leicestershire to have a closer look at Belvoir Castle. Travelling through the villages of Allington, Sedgebrook, Muston and Bottesford you will see a beautiful part of the countryside. On the return journey you will travel through the villages of Woolsthorpe and Denton. You will pass the magnificent Harlaxton Manor with its impressive driveway and iron gates.

Lincolnshire Villages
Travelling towards Lincoln you will see many pretty villages and marvelous views. From Great Gonerby you will travel through the villages of Belton, Syston and Honington to Carlton Scroop. This tour also takes in Caythorpe, Fulbeck and Leadenham. It is a most interesting journey and shows that Lincolnshire is not all flat!

Belton House Tour
One of the finest historic restoration houses in the country, and featured in the BBC’s Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice and Tom Jones. Built between 1685-1688, with stunning interiors containing exceptionally fine plasterwork and wood-carving, as well as important British Museum collections of paintings, furniture, tapestries and silverware. Belton’s garden covers 35 acres with both formal Italian, Dutch and English gardens as well as a vast informal area. They offer variety and choice for every taste. Together with a magnificent 1,000 acre landscaped park, the licensed Stables restaurant and a well-stocked National Trust Gift Shop, Belton offers a great day out whether you are looking for peace and tranquility or lots to do!
